Hello.

We're building a website which allows Irish people to find out who their elected representatives are, and write to them. It's something which already exists in the UK and works very well, so we're letting Ireland in on the action.

You can get involved by joining our working group.

If, on the other hand, you just want to see how far we've got so far in implementing things, you can visit the development site, which we'll warn you right now is a work in progress.

• Address Collection, being the part where we acquire Irish postal addresses from the index to the electoral register from the County and City councils. This is very likely to acquire a web services add-on, so that we can enable the Irish public to benefit from the fruits of our toil (this may require a conversation about licensing).
